Blick auf die verschiedenen alpinen Umgebungen: die 4000ender Walliser und Berner, die Zentralalpen, das T\u00f6di-Massiv, die Wiege des Schweizer Alpinismus, das Bernina-Massiv und die Poebene bis hin zum Monte Rosa. Die Adula ist ein gro\u00dfer Bergsteigerklassiker in der Region.<br \/>\nDer Berg liegt im zentralen Alpenhauptkamm zwischen dem Lukmanierpass und dem San Bernardino. Er dominiert die Region und ist die alpine Verbindung zwischen der italienischen, deutschen und romanische Sprache. Der Adula hat vier Bergr\u00fccken und gro\u00dfe T\u00e4ler diese sind wichtige Zuflussbecken des Rheins und des Tessins, daher der deutsche Name Rheinwaldhorn.<br \/>\nDie Bergkette, die sich von Norden nach S\u00fcden in einer Flossenform erhebt, gipfelt in unseren Gipfel: einen pyramidenf\u00f6rmigen Gletscher. Der Nordhang mit seinem Gletschermantel dominiert die Landschaft. Ebenso beeindruckend, aber v\u00f6llig eisfrei, ist der S\u00fcdhang, an dem eine steile Wand in das obere Val Malvaglia abbricht.<\/p>\n<p>Der normale, direkte Weg zu diesem Gipfel f\u00fchrt zweifellos \u00fcber die Capanna Adula UTOE, die vom Val Carassina aus erreicht werden kann.
